Entering the overcrowded pure electric market, Lynk & Co. has the confidence to pay homage to luxury without resorting to imitation.

After much anticipation, Lynk & Co's first all-electric vehicle is finally here.

On September 5th, the Lynk & Co Z10 was officially launched in Hangzhou with a limited-time starting price of 196,800 yuan, offering five different versions to meet the diverse needs of its users.

As Lynk & Co's first electric C-class sedan, the Z10 not only features the recognizable Lynk & Co style, spacious comfort that surpasses its class, and the brand's distinctive handling characteristics, but it is also equipped with a world-leading computing power vehicle system. It employs an advanced intelligent driving solution provided by Lotus robots, delivering an unprecedented all-electric driving experience for users.

At the launch event, Lin Jie, Senior Vice President of Geely Auto Group and General Manager of Lynk & Co Automobile Sales Co., expressed, “Without Porsche and Tesla, what should electric vehicles in China look like today? Lynk & Co does not aim to pay tribute to luxury through imitation.”

“Lynk & Co faced skepticism when entering the hybrid market, and as we venture into the ‘crowded’ all-electric market, we are even more determined,” Lin admitted. The brand’s confidence stems not only from the expectations of one million users but also from the support of Geely Holding Group’s strength in new energy technology. The goal for the Z10 is to rank among the top three in this market segment.

Reportedly, in the second half of the competition for intelligent new energy vehicles, the Lynk & Co Z10 offers users an intelligent cockpit experience that won’t feel outdated for years.

While other brands adapt a tablet interface for vehicles, the Lynk & Co Z10 brings a desktop PC experience to the car. Built on a rare high-performance desktop architecture, the Z10 utilizes the powerful Ekecton Makalu computing platform and is the first in the world to employ the AMD V2000A desktop system chip, making it one of two globally—and the only one in China—to use AMD desktop-grade chips, offering a CPU power 1.8 times that of the current industry flagship chips.

With this top-tier hardware, the Lynk & Co Z10's LYNK Flyme Auto system elevates the user experience, providing more seamless and smooth interactions. Thanks to its powerful computing capabilities, the Z10 encapsulates authentic urban aesthetics, featuring a live desktop that uses a 3D city model to change scenes based on weather and time; even simple charging screens integrate urban aesthetic concepts and Lynk & Co's reflections on time.

At the launch event, Lynk & Co also teamed up with Meizu to unveil its first Lynk & Co smartphone, AR smart glasses, and the world's first e-sports themed cockpit, creating deep connections between phones and vehicle systems to enhance users’ connected experience. Through Flyme Link, the Lynk & Co Z10 can seamlessly connect to smartphones, sharing computing power, application ecosystems, and services, thereby synchronizing phone applications for uninterrupted use in the vehicle. The Carlink function allows seamless connectivity with smartphones from Xiaomi, Vivo, OPPO, Samsung, and others, sharing voice control, navigation, and entertainment apps. With the CoPad tablet, backseat passengers can also enjoy the same multimedia and entertainment experience.

In terms of driving experience, Lynk & Co aims to “leave the fun to the users while handing over the boring tasks to machines.” The Z10 features a total of 30 high-performance perception sensors across the vehicle, covering an area of about 44,000 square meters, equivalent to six standard soccer fields, ensuring comprehensive travel safety. Utilizing a customized advanced intelligent driving solution provided by Lotus robots—LYNK LHP, which has been validated in scenarios across 30 countries worldwide—this solution offers users a safe, efficient, and comfortable high-end smart driving experience. Additionally, the Z10 can achieve up to 33 driving assistance functions, leading its class in safety features.

In the realm of advanced NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) smart driving, the Lynk & Co Z10 covers virtually all daily travel scenarios for users. It is reported that the Z10's city NOA advanced driving navigation assistance will be enhanced through subsequent OTA updates.

With the launch of the Z10, Lynk & Co has achieved comprehensive coverage of its sedan lineup. In the future, Lynk & Co will continue to advance in fuel, plug-in hybrid, and all-electric vehicles, consistently delivering high-end travel experiences that exceed user expectations.
