From "far ahead" to "exceptionally strong," the most prestigious model of Hongmeng Zhixing is here.

After taking a significant lead, Yu Chengdong's four-character slogan has evolved once again, this time to "So Powerful It Can Fly."

On November 26, at the Huawei Mate brand gala, Huawei's Executive Director, Chairman of the Terminal BG, and Chairman of the Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU, Yu Chengdong, spoke for nearly four hours about the new products.

For digital media, this was yet another technology feast — from smartphones to tablets, from smart locks to smartwatches, the review topics for the next half month are all set. Even the titles, Yu thoughtfully prepared, are simply called "Huawei XX, So Powerful It Can Fly."

For automotive industry media, however, 80% of this launch event was spent "accompanying the prince with his studies." The new models, the Zhijie S7, the Xiangjie S9 Ultra, and the day’s "One More Big Thing" — the Zunjie S800, were reserved for the end. Nonetheless, that remaining 20% of the time packed most of the event's value.

The Zunjie, as the name suggests, is designed around the concept of "nobility," making it Huawei's most expensive model in the Hongmeng Zhixing series. Yu Chengdong stated at the launch event: "The Zunjie S800 is our year-end flagship, a benchmark for the era, and it marks the beginning of a new chapter."

In describing the design of this vehicle, Huawei’s copywriting team must have racked their brains. Luxury sedans priced between 1 million and 1.5 million yuan are exceedingly rare in China, leaving no prior examples to draw from. Ultimately, they settled on this description for the "contemporary electric vehicle + Rolls-Royce + Maybach" hybrid design — utilizing a harmonious conception of heaven, earth, and humanity, it gathers the power of contemporary luminaries to explore the universe's vastness. The new ZH starry design language promises extreme luxury and distinctive intelligence, which will become a hallmark of the Zunjie family design. The front end features a layout of four horizontal and two vertical elements, showcasing a magnificent aura that intersects heaven and earth, merging a multitude of phenomena.

In short, the word choice conveys a grandiosity so vast that even the Hongqi Jin Kuihua would seem less magnificent in comparison.

This elevated vocabulary, combined with the "Eight Stars Eight Diamonds" logo of the Zunjie, could be seen as the pinnacle interpretation of a flagship luxury intelligent electric vehicle by contemporary Chinese standards.

Highlighting a few key aspects that reflect the "nobility" of the Zunjie S800: its dimensions are 5480mm x 2000mm x 1536mm, with a wheelbase of 3370mm; any longer and it might require a yellow license plate. The Rolls-Royce-style "large pancake" rims are undoubtedly one of the features that denote its flagship status; the "Nebula Scroll" taillights at the rear emphasize intricate craftsmanship, differentiating it from the mundane monotones on the road; the starry sky ceiling and "first-class seating material and layout" epitomize Huawei and Jianghuai's understanding of "nobility" to the fullest.

This vehicle’s "inner workings" are equally impressive. It features the Tuling Longxing platform, capable of integrating three smart functionalities: intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, and intelligent domain control, setting a precedent for "hundred-year chassis architecture." Under this architecture, the level of autonomous driving is claimed to be "designed according to Level 3" — a statement that showcases its "So Powerful It Can Fly" capability while leaving room for potential variations upon practical rollout.

In the eyes of Jiangqi Group's Party Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager Xiang Xingchu, the Zunjie S800 embodies the combined strengths of both parties' resources and must achieve "top-notch progress" in production, delivery, and service levels. In summary, it is "everything for the Zunjie, for the Zunjie’s everything" — a sentiment reminiscent of BAIC Chairman Zhang Jianrong's "All in Xiangjie" during the Xiangjie S9 launch.

After all, whether for Jiang Qi or BAIC, their rise in the smart electric vehicle sector significantly relies on the halo effect of Huawei.

In addition to the Zunjie 800, two other models under the Hongmeng Zhixing brand have also been upgraded. For instance, the new Zhijie S7 has added new body colors, upgraded cockpit materials, and further increased its level of intelligence. The new models are priced between 229,800 and 319,800 yuan.

Meanwhile, the Xiangjie S9 Ultra has launched a long-range version starting at an official suggested retail price of 429,800 yuan. The new car is standard equipped with rear zero-gravity seats, an intelligent laser projection system, and a Hongmeng ALPS health cockpit.

With the official debut of the Zunjie S800, Hongmeng Zhixing has now formally gathered the "Four Realms." According to certain cinematic narratives, this moment allows for the summoning of the dragon to grant a wish.

It’s reported that Yu Chengdong will convene the "Four Realm Masters" in December for an event themed "Together, Hongmeng Zhixing." We will continue to monitor Huawei's new vision in its strategic path of "helping car manufacturers to produce quality vehicles."
