Horizon Robotics launches three major intelligent driving technologies for the first time, and will win the key three years of intelligent driving

On January 13, the "Beyond the Horizon Intelligent Driving Technology Imagination Day" was held in Shanghai. Yu Kai, founder and CEO of Horizon, presented an "Intelligent Driving Talk Show" to "let everyone leave driving to Horizon and give life back to themselves."

Yu Kai's confidence comes from the mass production innovation results demonstrated by Horizon Robotics at this Technology Imagination Day.

On the same day, the "SuperDrive Intelligent Driving Hundred-person Group Experience Activity" was launched on a busy road section in Jing'an District, Shanghai. The three intelligent driving technologies launched for the first time by the Horizon SuperDrive™ (HSD) full-scenario intelligent driving solution demonstrated its ability to cope with various complex traffic scenarios.

U-turns are difficult to implement on complex urban roads. HSD launched the first urban NOA in China that integrates reverse parking capabilities. It can realize "three-point", "five-point" and "N-point U-turns" without manual control, and can also turn around and escape from trouble in narrow roads and even dead ends.

HSD also launched the first urban NOA in China that supports roaming mode (urban + park). In a closed park, the vehicle can roam without turning on the navigation, just like a human driver "circling and waiting for someone".

HSD also launched the country's first autonomous urban NOA system that can avoid congestion. The system analyzes navigation information and autonomously plans the navigation-assisted route, helping users avoid congestion and improve travel efficiency like an experienced smart driver.

In addition, thanks to the rapid growth of end-to-end world models and data-driven interactive game architecture, HSD has broken free from the constraints of high-precision maps and achieved "all-country driving". At present, HSD has completed national generalization and is expected to deliver the first mass-produced cooperative model in the third quarter of 2025.

According to reports, Horizon Robotics has reached cooperation with more than 40 global automakers and brands, including the top ten automakers in China, in the nine years since its establishment, and has enabled more than 300 cooperative models. So far, Horizon Robotics' Journey family of in-vehicle intelligent computing solutions has shipped more than 7 million sets. The Journey 6 series has been designated as a platform by more than 20 automakers and brands, and will help more than 100 models to be launched with mid-to-high-end intelligent driving functions starting in 2025.

Yu Kai said: "In 2025, Horizon's intelligent computing solutions will surpass the 10 million mass production mark, continue to lead the mass production of China's intelligent driving, promote the prosperity and growth of the intelligent driving ecosystem, and 'take root deeply'. At the same time, Horizon SuperDrive and Journey 6 series will be put into mass production this year, 'breaking through the sky' with leading performance and new experience, creating a new benchmark for the industry and winning the three critical years of intelligent driving competition!"
