As a global leading provider of ICT (information and communication) infrastructure and smart terminals, Huawei has core technologies in the field of smart cars, including software, hardware, chips, and cloud. In recent years, Huawei has launched a number of excellent smart car products with its partners, which are well received by the market. In the fields of smart driving, smart cockpit, smart driving control, and software-defined cars, Huawei has brought consumers the ultimate smart travel experience.

The strategic cooperation between SAIC and Huawei will further leverage their respective strengths and aims to push China's automotive industry to new heights in the era of intelligence.

Previously, the newly registered trademark "Shangjie" was revealed to be the new brand that SAIC and Huawei are preparing to jointly create, and it is also the fifth realm operated by Huawei's Hongmeng Intelligent Driving.

According to reports, the positioning of the new "Shangjie" car tends to be younger. The first new car may be developed based on the original Roewe ES39, equipped with Huawei cockpit and intelligent driving, and provide two pure electric endurance versions. It is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year, covering a price range of 150,000 to 250,000 yuan.
