On April 25, Audi made its grand debut at the 2024 Beijing International Auto Show with its new generation of pure electric model Q6L e-tron.
This is a new model built on the PPE luxury pure electric platform and designed specifically for the Chinese market. It also marks another technological leap for Audi to lead high-end electric travel based on the needs of Chinese users.

It is reported that the Audi Q6L e-tron is built on the PPE platform and the new E3 1.2 electronic architecture, equipped with cutting-edge technologies in the electric vehicle field, including 800V electrical architecture, powerful motors, and advanced battery and charging management systems. At the same time, the high-end model is also specially designed for the Chinese market and brings some localized features, such as the extended wheelbase to accommodate a larger battery pack, thus having a better endurance performance than the overseas version. In addition, the new car will also be equipped with a new interconnection solution exclusive to the Chinese market in the future.

In addition to the Q6L e-tron, Audi also brought electric models such as the new Audi SQ6 e-tron and the new Audi Q5 e-tron RS to this year's Beijing Auto Show. In addition to the product lineup, Audi's clear development plan in China also includes promoting the local R&D roadmap, so as to respond more quickly to Chinese consumers' expectations for smart connected cars.

As a high-end luxury brand that has been deeply rooted in the Chinese market for many years, Audi is constantly creating innovative customer touchpoints and sales models through close cooperation with its two local partners, FAW and SAIC, to bring a brand-new experience to Chinese consumers in terms of digitalization, electrification and personalization. As of now, FAW Audi has 615 marketing service networks in 247 cities, and SAIC Audi has 181 dealer stores in 88 cities.

“The Chinese market has always been one of our most important markets and a core area of action for implementing the Audi Agenda.”
Regarding the future development of the brand in China, Audi Global CEO Gernot Döllner said, "I firmly believe that Audi will continue to maintain a strong position in the Chinese auto market through customized products, deepening local R&D capabilities, and strengthening customer-centric commitments."
