Research and development personnel from several traditional car companies told reporters that the full life cycle test that Lei Jun mentioned should be the regional road test or national road test of traditional car companies. This type of test is different from bench or field test. The usage scenario and intensity are closer to the actual usage of users. Depending on the requirements of the company, the test mileage usually ranges from 150,000 to 200,000 kilometers.
"But this type of test will definitely be carried out before the official start of production (SOP), not after delivery." A test engineer from a joint venture car company told reporters that the durability tests of general products will be divided into whole vehicle durability, special durability, etc., and some tests will be carried out through bench tests, professional test tracks, etc. This type of test can be converted to be equivalent to a longer daily durability test mileage; in addition to the above tests, the whole vehicle will also be tested on real roads to be close to the actual usage of users; in addition, similar real road tests will be carried out when the vehicle model is modified, but this test is also carried out before SOP.
Therefore, some people believe that Xiaomi SU7 was delivered before the test was completed, which is suspected of treating users as guinea pigs. However, some people also said that road testing is still continuing after the launch, and the car is still making progress.
Since its official launch on March 28, Xiaomi SU7 has become one of the hottest products in the market this year.
