On August 20, the brand new exclusive technology "Easy Triangle" from Denza was officially launched at the 2024 Denza Automotive Technology Day. At the same time, pre-sales began for the Denza Z9GT and Denza Z9 (sedan version), with a price range of 339,800 to 419,800 yuan.
It is reported that the Easy Triangle, a proprietary technology platform from Denza, represents a comprehensive innovation from BYD at the foundational architecture level, offering a premium solution powered by three electric motors. This technology makes its debut in the Denza Z9GT. It is built upon four core technologies: independent drive technology with three motors, independent steering technology with dual rear motors, VMC whole vehicle motion control technology, and CTB battery integration technology, creating five distinctive core functions: ultra-responsive steering, turning radius like a compass, Easy Triangle parking, low-friction surface stabilization system, and intelligent crab walking. These innovations are set to provide users with core experiences of safety, agility, intelligence, and power.

Wang Chuanfu, Chairman and President of BYD Group, stated, “I believe that with the support of Easy Triangle, the Z9GT will offer users a unique intelligent driving experience!”
Thanks to the Easy Triangle technology, the Denza Z9GT can unleash nearly 1,000 horsepower through the synergy of its three motors, achieving a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 3.4 seconds. Moreover, the Z9GT excelled in the moose test with a score of 93.6 km/h, featuring a turning radius of just 4.62 meters, providing flexibility comparable to A0-class vehicles within its 5.2-meter length, allowing for a single sweeping turn. In terms of safety, the Z9GT maintains stability and does not veer off course even after a tire blowout at a speed of 140 km/h, ensuring the safety of passengers on board.
As Denza's first model equipped with the CTB architecture across dual platforms, the Z9GT retains a low-profile design while offering an exceptionally spacious interior.
Additionally, based on the "Smart Vehicle" strategy, BYD has been continuously increasing its investments in intelligent driving. By July, the deployment of BYD's Level 2 smart driving systems had exceeded 3.5 million units. The Z9GT will be the first model from BYD Group to feature the BAS 3.0+ intelligent driving system, and in the future, Denza will continuously upgrade its software versions based on the integrated Tian Shen Eye intelligent driving assistance system.
