On September 10, the first intelligent long-range SUV under the Baojun brand— the Baojun Yunhai—was officially launched.
It is reported that the new vehicle offers four configurations, with a "limited-time introductory price" ranging from 109,800 to 133,800 yuan.
As the first intelligent long-range SUV built on the Tianyu architecture D platform, the Baojun Yunhai comes fully equipped in its base model. All four models feature top-tier "smart driving" capabilities, high-end "stylish" aesthetics, ultra-long-range "smart endurance," enjoyable "smart driving" experiences, and comprehensive "smart safety" protections.
In terms of advanced smart driving features, the Baojun Yunhai is equipped as standard with the Lingmu Smart Driving 2.0 Max, developed in collaboration with Baojun Auto and Zhuoyutech (formerly known as DJI Automotive). As a model that has successfully implemented an end-to-end production model, it includes the only city memory navigation assistance in its class, high-speed intelligent navigation assistance that works nationwide, and redefined LCC intelligent driving assistance, among other features.
Positioned as a pioneering dual-power model in its class built on the Tianyu architecture, the Baojun Yunhai is powered by a highly efficient 150 kW motor, achieving speeds of up to 170 km/h and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.8 seconds.
The 600 km pure electric version features the largest battery capacity in its class at 69.2 kWh, along with the only 2C DC fast-charging capability in its segment, allowing it to regain 300 km of range with just 20 minutes of charging. It also has a 3.3 kW external discharge capability, transforming it into a "mobile power bank" whenever needed.
The plug-in hybrid version is equipped with the Lingxi Hybrid System, featuring 9.5 kWh and 20.5 kWh batteries, with a maximum comprehensive range of up to 1100 km. The NEDC fuel consumption is as low as 3.8 L/100 km when depleted, and the WLTC fuel consumption is as low as 4.86 L/100 km.
The Baojun Yunhai boasts a body ratio of 1.17 in width to height, skillfully blending Chinese horse culture with aerodynamic design through its Tengyun design aesthetics, placing it among the top tier for global mass production SUVs with a drag coefficient of Cd 0.259. Its "smart and stylish" cabin boasts a room utilization rate of 64%.
At the conclusion of the launch event, the Baojun Yunhai also introduced a new benefit for users—Smart Driving Assurance. Based on the current user sentiment of "not daring to use smart driving," this initiative aims to provide users with a safety net when using smart driving features. Additionally, the official Baojun user club, known as the "Junyue Club," was announced to be officially established.
