The hardcore off-road market in China has attracted yet another foreign brand looking to strike gold.
The Infinix Grenadier five-seat off-road vehicle has recently officially announced its entry into the Chinese market.
According to reports, the new vehicle will be available in three models: the Grenadier Standard Edition, the Grenadier Fieldmaster Edition, and the Grenadier Trialmaster Edition, with an official retail price ranging from 808,000 to 908,000 yuan.

"To enter the Chinese market, Infinix has been meticulously preparing and investing resources for over two years," said Lynn Calder, Global CEO of Infinix Automotive. "From the very beginning, Infinix Automotive identified China as one of its core strategic markets globally and has approached the market with a long-term perspective."
The Grenadier was crafted by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Chairman of the Infinix Group, who is known for his keen insight as a car enthusiast and seasoned adventurer, drawing inspiration from the Grenadier pub in London where the concept was born.
Before its entry into the Chinese market, the Grenadier had already been launched in over 40 countries and regions worldwide.

The vehicle adheres to the design principle of "form follows function," avoiding any unnecessary embellishments.
In terms of exterior design, the vehicle features clean and powerful lines, with a compact, boxy shape that not only enhances space utilization but also provides a unique visual impact. The distinctive 30/70 split rear door design allows for more convenient access when retrieving items.
Inside, the central control system in the Grenadier is inspired by the layout of controls in an aircraft cockpit, integrating all off-road control devices and function buttons. This allows the driver to quickly respond to various complex road conditions as needed.

Regarding off-road performance, the vehicle boasts a formidable off-road system composed of a non-load-bearing body structure, front and rear solid axles, and a transfer case. It features full-time four-wheel drive, a dual-speed transfer case with a central differential, and options for front and rear electronic locking differentials, as well as Michelin or off-road tires, ensuring stable progress. The front and rear solid axles, along with the progressive coil spring suspension system, provide a balance of off-road capability and everyday driving comfort.
It is reported that the first batch of new vehicles will be delivered to Chinese customers by the end of October. Infinix will also offer customers a comprehensive warranty covering all systems for five years with no mileage limit and a chassis rustproofing warranty lasting up to 12 years.
"In China, the launch of the Grenadier represents not just the entry of a car brand; it marks the beginning of a deep engagement in the market," said Peng Mingshan, General Manager of Infinix Automotive China.
