According to him, the MG ES5, a pure electric rear-wheel-drive SUV, has cracked the "impossible triangle" of space, performance, and safety.

As a compact car, the new model measures 4476mm in length, 1849mm in width, and 1621mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2730mm. Its official price ranges from 116,900 to 146,900 yuan, featuring a class-leading 61% wheelbase-to-length ratio and a 33.6% best-in-class overall "usable space" ratio, providing an interior usable area of 4.32 square meters.
The vehicle also boasts up to 40 storage spaces, with a standard trunk volume of 381 liters, capable of accommodating two 24-inch and two 20-inch suitcases. When the rear seats are folded down, the trunk can create a completely flat loading area, expanding the space to 1423 liters.

The MG ES5 is equipped with SAIC's exclusive LBS styled battery pack, which is 110mm thick and has a maximum lifespan of 1 million kilometers. Thanks to SAIC's high-end pure electric architecture, the MG ES5 has been meticulously arranged and tuned across four dimensions: center of gravity height, mass distribution, suspension settings, and steering calibration, creating the highest quality chassis under 200,000 yuan. It also features a five-link independent rear suspension, complemented by a DP-EPS steering unit and an XDS dynamic curve control system, enabling the vehicle to maintain better dynamic balance in curves. Additionally, with a foundation of "super-stable posture," the MG ES5 is equipped with the industry-first "motion sickness relief system," effectively reducing motion discomfort by 30%.
With the highest range reaching up to 525 kilometers according to European five-star safety development standards, the MG ES5 consumes 11.49 kWh per 100 kilometers; under extreme limp-home conditions, it can still travel about 30 kilometers, allowing owners to reach nearby charging facilities easily.
In terms of smart driving, the MG ES5 is equipped with the Horizon Mono™️ advanced assistance driving solution based on Horizon Journey 3, offering intelligent cruise assistance, lane-keeping assistance, intelligent overspeed alerts, and various advanced driver assistance and active safety functions, capable of covering more scenarios such as navigating sharp curves and ramp passage, as well as lane-change diversion traffic.
