Five years ago, at the 2019 Guangzhou Auto Show, the Weiran made its official debut as the first large luxury business MPV under SAIC Volkswagen.
Now, five years later, on November 15, SAIC Volkswagen announced at the Guangzhou Auto Show a special limited-time all-inclusive price for the Weiran model, starting from 199,900 yuan for a German-style seven-seat MPV, and 249,900 yuan for the 380 TSI high-power version.

It is reported that the currently available Weiran has been upgraded in areas such as space and intelligent technology. Not only are the second and third rows more spacious and comfortable, with each seat providing a VIP experience, but it is also equipped with the Travel Assist full journey intelligent driving assistance system, IQ. 360 panoramic view, PLA comprehensive intelligent parking assistance system, SWA lane change assistance system, and other advanced technologies to help drivers navigate complex and changing driving environments with ease.

When it was first launched in 2020, the Weiran's main slogan was, "28,0000 yuan for a mid-to-large luxury MPV," while now it has transformed into "Under 200,000 yuan for a German-style large seven-seat MPV."
As five years have passed, SAIC Volkswagen, as the largest joint venture automaker, has launched this "limited-time all-inclusive price" to ensure it maintains its position as the king of fuel vehicles in the Chinese auto market, a move that is unstoppable.
Additionally, the Weiran will kick off a 24-hour free rental program in 69 cities nationwide, allowing users to register through the SAIC Volkswagen official platform and immerse themselves in the luxurious and comfortable driving experience of the Weiran.
In addition to the Weiran, the Pro family comprising the SAIC Volkswagen Tiguan L Pro and Passat Pro, along with several other star products, also showcased their impressive capabilities at the event.
SAIC Audi brought its latest luxury product lineup from the AUDI and Four Rings dual brands to the Guangzhou Auto Show's new power pavilion 19.2, with AUDI brand ambassador Zheng Qinwen making a surprise appearance at the press conference, adding to the excitement at the SAIC Audi booth.
Furthermore, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of SAIC Volkswagen and filled with gratitude towards its 28 million car owners, SAIC Volkswagen officially launched a recruiting campaign for lucky car owners, inviting them to come to the headquarters in Anting, Shanghai, on December 10 for the 40th anniversary celebration. There, they will reflect on the past and present of China's modern automotive industry and experience the future of technology and surprises.
