Recently, SAIC-GM General Manager Zhuang Jingxiong visited the SAIC-GM Jinqiao luxury car factory, known as the "smart factory", to visit the new GL8 Lu Zun PHEV production line. In terms of power, the Buick GL8 Lu Zun PHEV is built with a new PHEV intelligent electric plug-in hybrid system. The car is also designed with a smart island, built-in heating and cooling box, wireless charging and other functions, and the entertainment screen in the rear cabin of the model supports touch and remote control operation. It can be connected via Bluetooth or WiFi to realize the wireless screen projection function of Android and iOS systems.
At present, the new car is being produced in full swing and has entered the final sprint stage before the first batch of shipments. In addition, the Chevrolet Equinox Plus equipped with the same technology is being produced at the Wuhan base. Both plug-in hybrid models will start shipping in the near future and will be delivered to customers soon.
