The legend of Lotus extends beyond "four-wheeled supercars" to also encompass "two-wheeled racetracks."
On August 10th, Lotus, the luxury pure electric car brand, unveiled its first 4+2 lifestyle social space, Lotus Friends Club, in Shanghai.

It is described as a high-quality social space that combines Japanese-style coffee and evening wine, sales and services for driving and riding, British culture, boutique retail, cultural exhibitions, and salon meetings.
On the same day, Lotus announced the release of its first agile road bike, the TYPE 136 Wind Edition. The electric-assist version is priced at 178,600 yuan, while the mechanical version is priced at 138,600 yuan.

In the 1990s, Lotus was the first to apply aerodynamics to bicycles, using single carbon fiber material to create the TYPE 108. In 1992, at the Barcelona Olympics, it won the championship and broke the world record. At this year's Paris Olympics, Lotus' 2024 model HOPE-LOTUS racing bike helped the UK cycling team break three records.
The TYPE 136 Wind Edition embodies Lotus' consistent lightweight concept to the extreme. The unique application of porous design language gives it an extremely aerodynamic appearance, while its performance is as sharp as a drawn blade. It not only perfectly inherits the "sail effect" of Lotus' classic warhorses TYPE 108 and TYPE 110 but also introduces the Olympic champion car LOTUS HOPE HB.T's innovative "calf effect" into daily cycling.
Additionally, Lotus has launched and established the 4+2 Lotus Friends Club.
Lotus aims to offer drivers an all-encompassing, limitless high-end lifestyle of "4+2=∞" through the combination of four-wheeled supercars and two-wheeled racetracks.
