On August 16, Polestar opened its first brand experience center in Shanghai, marking a significant milestone.
The Polestar Shanghai Experience Center covers approximately 3,000 square meters and serves as a multifunctional innovative space that integrates vehicle displays, test drives, car purchases and deliveries, as well as after-sales maintenance services.

With the opening of the Shanghai Experience Center, Polestar’s development in the Chinese market enters a new phase, aimed at accelerating innovation in products, corporate strategies, branding, and services.
Polestar originated from Volvo's high-performance department and became an independent high-performance luxury brand in 2017. In 2023, Polestar joined forces with Meizu to establish a strategic joint venture, Polestar Technology, to enhance its efforts in China's new energy vehicle market. By 2024, Polestar is set to reach a global cumulative sales milestone of 200,000 vehicles.
As of now, Polestar has established 192 retail points and 1,149 service points globally, with plans to enter seven new markets by 2025, which will expand Polestar's presence to 34 countries and regions worldwide.

Shen Ziyu, Chairman and CEO of Polestar Technology, announced: “The Polestar 3 has recently begun production in South Carolina, USA, and the Polestar 4 is also slated for production in South Korea in mid-2025.”
In the future, Polestar will continue to research and develop more intelligent, localized models tailored for the Chinese market. Among these, the Polestar 7 and Polestar 8 are currently in planning and are expected to be released in the next two years.
