Coinciding with the 40th anniversary of Changan’s automobile manufacturing, its subsidiary DeepBlue Automobile reached its own milestone - the 400,000th vehicle officially rolled off the production line.
It is reported that it took Deep Blue 14 months to grow from 0 to 100,000 vehicles, and it only took Deep Blue 29 months to grow from 0 to 400,000 vehicles.
Deng Chenghao, president of DeepBlue Auto, said at the event that the brand concept of "technology as the root, product as the basis, and user as the king" is the driving force behind DeepBlue's continuous creation of growth records.
It is reported that in December this year, DeepBlue Automobile's deliveries exceeded 36,000 vehicles, and the annual deliveries in 2024 will exceed 240,000 vehicles.
As Deep Blue Automobile's first model SL03, a special edition model - Deep Blue Classic SL03 - was also launched at this event, with a fixed price of 119,900 yuan and a limited edition of 4,000 units.
At present, DeepBlue Auto has formed a product matrix consisting of five models: SL03, G318, S07, L07, and S05. In the future, DeepBlue Auto will continue to enrich its product matrix and plans to launch two new products in 2025. Among them, DeepBlue S09, positioned as a "large six-seater SUV for the whole family", has made its debut.
Facing the upcoming 2025, the DeepBlue brand has set a goal of 500,000 units in global sales, of which 400,000 are expected to be sold in the domestic market and 100,000 in overseas markets, covering 81 countries, steadily moving towards the goal of becoming a world-class electric vehicle brand.
