Jaguar Land Rover's newest global flagship showroom, Shanghai Weijie Jaguar Land Rover, recently opened in the Wuzhong Road commercial district of Shanghai. As one of the first showrooms to adopt the "New Modern Luxury" standard, the opening of this store marks a further step in the implementation of Jaguar Land Rover's network layout and brand reshaping strategy in the Chinese market.

At the opening ceremony, Wu Chen, Chief Commercial Officer of Jaguar Land Rover China, stated that the new store combines "favorable timing, location, and people," and its location in a prime commercial area helps to more accurately reach high-end customers and create an accessible luxury lifestyle. Jin Weijie, Executive Director of the Weijie Group, stated that they will work with Jaguar Land Rover to provide customers with a distinguished service and lifestyle experience that goes beyond mere sales.

The new showroom follows the design philosophy of "simplifying complexity," using warm colors and an open layout to create an immersive space that combines British elegance with modern technology. The showroom features separate display areas for the Range Rover, Defender, and Discovery product families, and includes a specially designed "unveiling" delivery area to enhance the customer's sense of prestige during the delivery process.

In 2025, Jaguar Land Rover demonstrated strong resilience in the Chinese market. The Range Rover maintained its position as the top-selling brand in the price range above 1.5 million yuan for the third consecutive year, and the brand continued to lead in the luxury SUV segment above 700,000 yuan. Furthermore, Jaguar Land Rover swept the top spot among luxury brands in all six core studies of JD Power 2025, becoming the only brand in the industry to achieve a "grand slam."

As the first Jaguar Land Rover authorized dealership under the Weijie Group, this store will further enhance the brand's service coverage in the southwest region of Shanghai. It is understood that in the coming months, Jaguar Land Rover will also open new stores in several cities across the country and explore more flexible retail space formats to build a network operation system that is closer to users.
