On November 21, the opening day of the 23rd Guangzhou International Auto Show, 212 SUV launched its new customized model, the 212 T01 Highland, under the theme "Beyond Vision, Reaching New Heights," priced at 205,800 yuan. The 60th Anniversary Edition, hybrid model, multi-functional hybrid pickup truck, and the T01 Changfeng diesel version also made their debut.
"Putting users first is our starting point and an unchanging principle," said He Zhaopeng, deputy general manager of 212 Off-Road Vehicle and general manager of the marketing company, at the launch event. Over the past year, 212 has conducted face-to-face exchanges with users in more than ten cities across the country, collecting more than 100 pieces of real feedback. These voices directly feed back into the product definition, making the T01 Highland a truly "demand-oriented" off-road vehicle shaped by user participation.

As the first officially customized product to embody the "user-first" philosophy, the 212 T01 Highland is defined as a "fully armed performance warrior," designed for diverse scenarios such as long-distance off-roading, outdoor adventures, and self-driving tours, filling a gap in the 200,000 RMB-level hardcore SUV market. Its styling continues the 212 family's "one arch, two circles, three horizontals" design language, with the front grille resembling a mountain range, echoing the name "Highland." The cockpit has been upgraded to an intelligent military-style design, offering a high seating position for a "commander's view," and a new 3D visual human-machine interaction system equipped with a high-performance vehicle chip. The T01 Highland is built on the professional WY off-road hard axle platform, employing a non-load-bearing body and front and rear hard axle structures, raising the vehicle by 1.5 inches. It is equipped with 285/70 R17 all-terrain tires, standard front and rear differential locks and a snorkel, and 10 driving modes to confidently handle complex road conditions such as sand, mud, snow, and uneven surfaces.
In addition, relying on the WY hardcore platform and the WB all-around platform, the brand will successively launch three-door version, hybrid version, multi-functional hybrid pickup truck and the first mid-to-large-sized off-road vehicle on the WB platform, realizing full-scenario coverage from "professional off-road" to "all-around travel" and then to "urban commuting".
Its globalization pace is also accelerating. Currently, the 212 overseas network covers more than 70 countries and regions, with a focus on high-demand off-road regions such as the Middle East, Europe, South America, Southeast Asia, Central Asia and Africa, bringing Chinese hardcore off-road vehicles to the world.
