After the C series, another popular model that Leapmotor has been working hard to create - the B series - is also here.

On March 10, Leapmotor officially launched the pre-sale of the first model of its B series, the Leapmotor B10, with the pre-sale price range of five models ranging from RMB 109,800 to RMB 139,800. The new car will be officially launched and delivered in April.

The latest data shows that the order volume of Leapmotor B10 exceeded 15,010 units within one hour of pre-sale, far exceeding expectations.

It is reported that the B10 is built on the new LEAP 3.5 technical architecture of Leapmotor, and the chassis is jointly tuned by the Leapmotor chassis team and the Stellantis Group Maserati chassis master team. With intelligent technology, fashionable design, large space and superior performance, the B10 attempts to redefine the value standard of SUVs within 150,000 yuan.

Those who enthusiastically placed orders for B10 must have been more impressed by the selling point of "buy a laser radar and get a car for free."

Leapmotor said the B10 is the first model in the electric vehicle industry to be equipped with lidar and priced as low as 130,000 yuan, enabling more powerful intelligent driving capabilities.

According to the official introduction, the B10 is equipped with Qualcomm 8650 intelligent driving chip and laser radar. Its hardware reserves are comparable to those of a 500,000 yuan luxury car. It is based on end-to-end large-model intelligent driving and supports advanced functions such as highway/urban commuting intelligent navigation assistance. In the future, it can be continuously upgraded through OTA to promote the popularization of high-end intelligent driving technology.

Leapmotor currently offers the T03, C01, C10, C11 and C16 models in China. Except for the T03, all other models are available in both pure electric and extended-range versions. In 2024, Leapmotor's C series performed well, with a total of 225,100 vehicles delivered, a year-on-year increase of 112.9%. When communicating with the media, Leapmotor founder Zhu Jiangming expected that the B10 could achieve or even exceed the sales of the C series.

In 2024, Leapmotor delivered a total of 293,700 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 103.75%. It has the fastest year-on-year growth rate among new car brands, and its annual sales volume ranks among the top three new car brands. In the first two months of 2025, Leapmotor delivered a total of 50,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 167.78%.

At the latest financial report conference, Leapmotor executives predicted that the annual sales volume in 2025 will reach 500,000-600,000 vehicles, and the company will strive to achieve the goal of full-year profitability in 2025. Its just-released 2024 annual financial report shows that the company's operating income in 2024 will be 32.16 billion yuan, with a gross profit margin of 8.4%, a record high, and both operating cash flow and free cash flow will turn positive.
