On March 18, Chery Automobile held a strategic conference with the theme of "Oil-Electric and Intelligent Global Development" to showcase to the outside world the results of its 15 years of accumulation of intelligent driving capabilities.

On the eve of the press conference, Zhang Guozhong, Executive Vice President of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., Li Xueyong, Executive Vice President of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. and several other senior executives collectively accepted exclusive interviews with the media and gave detailed introductions to Chery's path to intelligence since its inception.
According to Zhang Guozhong, Chery's intelligent layout began in 2010. That year, Chery established an intelligent company "Lion" in Shanghai. In 2015, it launched the first generation of self-driving cars Arrizo 7. In 2016, the driverless fleet debuted in Wuzhen. In the past 15 years, Chery has built a full-stack self-developed system covering smart cabins, smart driving, robots and other fields. It has a 5,500-person R&D team and multiple innovative platforms such as "Lion Smart Cabin" and "Dazhuo Intelligence", and has built a collaborative ecosystem with global top companies such as Huawei, NVIDIA, and Horizon. "Software and hardware foundations and engineering capabilities have created corporate advantages, 5,500 software talents lead AI smart management, and technical capabilities determine the future." Zhang Guozhong said.
Li Xueyong, from the perspective of a marketer, told everyone how Chery's intelligent strategy differs from that of its competitors. "What is equal rights? Equal rights are greater than equal rights!" Li Xueyong explained: "Smart driving equal rights are not only equal rights in terms of price, but also equal rights in terms of oil and electricity, and even more so in terms of location."
According to him, Chery's intelligent driving strategy has "four equal rights" goals - universal (affordable price), global (technology export), full energy (oil and electricity with intelligence), and full scenario (terrain coverage). He said that in the second half of intelligence, "oil and electricity with intelligence, global peers" is Chery's answer.

At the press conference on the second day, Chery's "Falcon Intelligent Driving" intelligent solution was officially released, and it was announced that it will be installed on all brands and all models by 2025.
Specifically, by the end of 2025, Chery will have more than 30 models equipped with Falcon Intelligent Driving, covering all brands and models of Chery, covering all power forms such as fuel, hybrid, extended-range, and pure electric, and will be promoted simultaneously in the global market to accelerate the realization of its "universal, global, full-energy, and full-scenario" equal intelligent strategic goal.
Among them, the Chery QQ Smart Driving Edition will lower the threshold of smart driving equality to 60,000 yuan for the first time. This model, priced at 65,900 yuan, will be equipped with an L2+ assisted driving system, full-speed adaptive cruise control and intelligent lane change assistance as standard.
In addition to further lowering the price threshold, another difference in Chery's intelligent strategy is the release of the industry's first all-terrain off-road pilot - Falcon Intelligent Driving Off-Road, which covers all terrains in three scenarios: H-NOA (high-speed pilot), C-NOA (city pilot), and O-NOA (off-road pilot). "Getting rid of reliance on paved roads and achieving point-to-point all-terrain and all-road intelligent off-road assistance + off-road pilot will make off-roading safer," said Li Xueyong.

Yin Tongyue, Party Secretary and Chairman of Chery Holding Group Co., Ltd., explained at the press conference that "the naming of Falcon Intelligent Driving was inspired by the biological characteristics of the falcon: the precise perception of locking onto prey at an altitude of 10,000 meters, the decision-making speed of 0.45 seconds for instant reaction, and the ability to adapt to all-weather and all-terrain conditions."

From its name, it is not difficult to see Chery's determination to be intelligent. In fact, Chery has not stopped exploring intelligent technology. At the press conference, Chery also displayed humanoid robots, three-body composite wing flying cars, and vehicle-mounted drones... Chery, which is ready to fully fulfill its promise of "intelligentization is welcome", wants to leave its own mark on "all-domain intelligent driving" and "global intelligent driving" at this moment known as the first year of "comprehensive intelligent driving".
