While dazzling new smart electric cars dominate the headlines of major websites, Chery uses a new fuel car to demonstrate its comprehensive technical reserves and diversified product strategy to the outside world.
On July 29, the new generation of Jetour X70 PLUS of Chery's Jetour brand was officially launched. The new car has 6 versions, with an official guide price range of 111,900-137,900 yuan, and the price range after trade-in is 76,900-102,900 yuan (including the national trade-in subsidy).

The main features of the new generation Jetour X70 PLUS are space, safety and quality, and it aims to create a "new benchmark for China's large seven-seater SUV" for the global market.
The new car has a body size of 4749/1900/1720mm and a wheelbase of 2745mm. The variable space design can realize 5/7 seats as desired. In addition, the car has 33 storage spaces and a 62-inch ultra-wide-angle interstellar viewing skylight.
In order to show the space advantage, Jetour invited a number of big muscular men and media teachers to form an "experience team" at the press conference. They put all 12 people into the new car by sitting or lying down.

In terms of safety, 75% of the frame is covered with various high-strength steels, including 1500MPa hot-formed steel.
The high-performance braking system with a range of 36.5 meters per 100 kilometers, L2 intelligent driving assistance function and 540-degree panoramic imaging combination further enhance active safety capabilities.
The new generation Jetour X70 PLUS is equipped with the fourth-generation Kunpeng power 1.5TGDI+7DCT new power combination, which is also the result of Chery's insistence on forward-looking research and development of internal combustion engines.
At the same time, Jetour continues to lay out the "travel +" ecology, establishes an ecosystem through good things, trendy changes, rights and interests, and post stations, builds a user ecology, and interacts deeply with users.
"Square box" off-road vehicles used to be a niche market, but in recent years they have become a track that major automakers are competing for. Jetour launched its first model, the X70, in 2018, and began exploring the "travel +" market segment in China.
In the first half of this year, Jetour Auto's cumulative sales volume reached 223,555 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 98.9%.
"When it comes to quality, Jetour 'stupidly' didn't take shortcuts." Zhang Chunwei, general manager of the marketing center of Jetour's brand division, reviewed the six years when Jetour "didn't have a good day" at the press conference. Over the past six years, the cumulative sales of the Jetour X70 series have exceeded 740,000 units.

Next, Jetour will continue to expand the diversity of its lineup - from square-box light off-road to hardcore off-road, and then to mountain and sea series new energy off-road, aiming to make itself the "wildest" brand.
To use Jetour's official rhetoric, Britain has Land Rover, the United States has Jeep, and China has Jetour.
