In the increasingly fierce new energy war, intelligent driving has become a strategic high ground that car companies are competing for this year.
On March 3, Geely Auto held a "Full-Domain AI Intelligent Strategy Launch Conference" in Sanya, announcing three major events.
First, the group’s unified intelligent driving solution, “Qianli Haohan”, has officially debuted. The entire series is equipped with high-speed NOA and automatic parking APA as standard, and will officially push D2D (parking space to parking space navigation assistance) on a large scale in March 2025.

Secondly, continuing the strategic intention of the Taizhou Declaration, Yizhen Automobile was officially incorporated into Geely Galaxy and became its high-end electric MPV series. The Geely Galaxy series was officially upgraded to the Geely Galaxy brand.
Third, the first model equipped with Geely's Qianli Haohan intelligent driving system - the new Geely Galaxy E8 was officially launched. The new car has a total of 4 versions. The guide price is limited to 149,800-198,800 yuan, and eight listing rights are introduced.
"Geely's high-end intelligent driving is a 'chess game'." That night, Gan Jiayue, CEO of Geely Auto Group, said in an exclusive interview that "Qianli Haohan" is "AI+intelligent driving", and it is also Geely's unified intelligent travel solution, which truly realizes equal rights for intelligent driving and safety.

Geely believes that AI and cars will be deeply integrated in the future, and the large-scale model of the Internet of Vehicles will also usher in a quantum leap. For this reason, Geely has already fully embraced AI and has become the only car company in the world to complete the full-domain AI intelligent layout.
One of the major selling points of the AI-embracing Qianli Haohan is the safer intelligent driving system. Qianli represents the industry-leading general large model and computing power, and Haohan represents Geely's industry-leading intelligent driving capabilities and experience, which will bring users a safer intelligent driving experience.
Chen Qi, who made his debut as the chief intelligent driving scientist of Geely Holding Group, said, "Qianli Haohan has planned five levels of intelligent driving solutions, including H1, H3, H5, H7 and H9, which will cover all models of Geely Group's brands at different price points."
Among them, Qianli Haohan H1 can realize high-speed NOA and automatic parking APA; Qianli Haohan H3 adds urban commuting NOA and memory parking HPA on the basis of H1; Qianli Haohan H5 can realize urban map-free NOA and other scenarios; Qianli Haohan H7 adds parking driver VPD and other functions; Qianli Haohan H9 has more advanced functions such as fully redundant and fully backed up top L3 architecture and full-scene D2D, and is known as "the first L3 intelligent driving solution with mass production capabilities."

This time, the H1-level intelligent driving solution of Qianli Haohan has been first installed on Geely Galaxy Star 8 and 2025 Galaxy E8. Yi Xinyu, director of Geely Brand Research Institute, revealed in an exclusive interview: "The mission of the two models, Star 8 and E8, is to increase the penetration rate of new energy in the B-class car market and jointly promote the influence of Chinese brands in the B-class car market."
In the second half of this year, all new and revamped products of the Geely Galaxy brand will be equipped with different levels of intelligent driving solutions; the Geely Galaxy brand will also release a flagship product equipped with the Qianli Haohan H7-level intelligent driving solution.
Geely’s goal in launching Qianli Haohan is very clear, which is to enter the first camp of intelligent driving.
After all, Geely has already taken many firsts in the industry in terms of computing power, algorithms and data, which are the core of intelligent driving.

It is reported that in terms of computing power, Geely has joined forces with technology ecosystem partners such as Step Star, Qianli Technology, and Star Meizu to establish the world's only "Smart Car Computing Alliance" - Star Smart Computing Center 2.0. The computing power resources have exceeded the 10,000-card level, and the comprehensive computing power has been increased to 23.5EFLOPS, ranking first in computing power among Chinese car companies.
In terms of algorithms, Geely has released the Star Rui big model in 2023, and has now taken the lead in completing deep integration with DeepSeek. In addition, Geely has also jointly open-sourced two Step series multimodal big models with Step Xingchen. With the support of DeepSeek and Step multimodal big models, the Star Rui vertical big model has more powerful scene understanding, decision optimization and continuous learning capabilities.
In terms of data, Geely has more than 7.5 million vehicles with L2 intelligent driving capabilities, ranking first among Chinese automakers, and the actual driving data has accumulated 10 billion kilometers.
In addition, Geely's future travel constellation has 30 satellites in orbit, which can achieve 24-hour global coverage of 90% of the world and provide satellite communication services to global users. With the integration of the intelligent driving system and satellite interconnection, Qianli Haohan is not only a driving assistance system, but also a "safety officer" with all-weather and global coverage. In the future, it can predict natural disasters in advance and issue warnings through satellite data, automatically plan the best route, and even take over the vehicle actively to accurately avoid dangerous areas.
"Geely has made a lot of arrangements around smart technology in the past few years, including mobile phones and satellites. Today, everyone should understand that all of Geely's ecosystems are developed for the purpose of automobiles. Because we believe that intelligence must be the first condition for the future development of automobiles. We are now advancing step by step in all aspects according to the established plan." said Gan Jiayue.
