At the 2025 Mercedes-Benz Brand Technology Day, with two global premiere models as the core, it fully demonstrated its systematic technology layout in the fields of electrification and intelligence.

As the first domestically produced model of the MMA platform, the new pure electric long-wheelbase CLA debuted as the "smartest Mercedes-Benz in history". Its self-developed MB.OS architecture integrates a full-scenario intelligent assisted driving system (L2++ level), and through the AI voice assistant and Doubao large model led by the Chinese R&D team, it achieves efficient coordination of natural semantic interaction and personalized services. The digital cockpit constructed by the 14-inch co-pilot entertainment screen and the triple-screen design (10.25-inch instrument + 14.6-inch central control screen), combined with the Dolby Atmos sound system, provides users with an immersive experience.

In terms of safety, the model is based on the five-star certification of China's electric vehicle fire safety index, comes standard with 11 airbags (including the front center airbag, which is unique in its class), and has passed 180 real-car collision tests to verify the reliability of the body structure. Its 85kWh ternary lithium battery pack has undergone 80 extreme working condition tests, supports 800V high-voltage fast charging technology, and can provide 325 kilometers of driving range in 10 minutes (CLTC working condition), with a comprehensive driving range of 866 kilometers and a power consumption of only 10.9kWh per 100 kilometers, which completely solves the range anxiety.
The Vision V concept car, built on the VAN.EA pure electric architecture platform, integrates the concept of "private VIP lounge" into the design of a luxury MPV for the first time. The interior space uses a modular layout of intelligent glass curtain walls and 24-inch wheels to achieve free switching between office, rest and entertainment scenes. The rear exclusive theater system is combined with BOSE surround sound to create a multi-dimensional sensory experience.

The chassis battery integration technology not only optimizes space utilization, but its carbon fiber guard plate can withstand an impact force of 10.5 tons. The four-motor system and intelligent torque vector control ensure active safety performance under complex road conditions.
The word "safety" runs through the entire product life cycle. X-ray collision monitoring technology captures the internal deformation of the vehicle body with an accuracy of 1,000 frames per second, and digital simulation technology splits the entire vehicle into 15 million finite units for virtual testing. From electrolyte immersion to extreme cold and heat shock, the battery pack must pass 80 extreme tests before mass production. Duan Jianjun, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Sales Company, emphasized: "Making fewer mistakes is not being conservative, but using systematic capabilities to make every turn as stable as a rock."

From the pure electric crossing of the Dunhuang Gobi Desert to the extreme challenge of the Shekel Mountains, Mercedes-Benz has proved with its 139 years of engineering experience that true luxury is to make every technological innovation withstand the most rigorous verification. Just as the shocking scene on the brand day where two EQS and EQA cars collided at 112 kilometers per hour and still maintained their bodies intact, safety has always been the ultimate language of Mercedes-Benz's crossing of the era cycle.
This research and development logic of "being serious in the data world and calm in the real world" is perfectly reflected in the carbon fiber protection and four-motor decoupling technology of the pure electric G-class off-road vehicle.
Mercedes-Benz has redefined the core value of luxury brands through rigorous safety testing and R&D standards. As Duan Jianjun once said, "Safety is the cornerstone of luxury, and the essence of luxury is reliability that can stand the test of time."
