360 Group founder Zhou Hongyi’s self-selected car series has a new member - Dongfeng Mengshi 917.
This car is also the one that made Zhou Hongyi famous during this year's Beijing Auto Show.
On July 24, Mengshi held a grand delivery ceremony for Zhou Hongyi at Dongfeng Mengshi Technology Park in Wuhan. Zhou Hongyi could not hide his love for Dongfeng Mengshi 917 at the scene, saying that many of his firsts were given to Mengshi, including his first time as a car model and becoming famous all over the country, his first time experiencing the thrill and excitement of an off-road track, and even his first time in the workshop to screw in a screw.
"I fell in love with the Dongfeng Mengshi 917 at first sight. It is a real off-road vehicle with a very majestic appearance and sharp edges, just like a real tough guy. I liked it at first sight."
It also touched Zhou Hongyi's military sentiment. "The military genes inherited from the battlefield and the warriors' fearless conquest can give you a sense of confidence and strength," Zhou Hongyi said.
Because of the Dongfeng Mengshi 917, the man in red seems to have made up his mind to get a driver's license. "Many people advised me to get a driver's license before, but I have many drivers, so I never got interested. Today, I experienced the fun of off-roading, and I feel that I still need to know how to drive. I will really start to consider getting a driver's license." Zhou Hongyi said, "I want to drive it through all the gullies, through all kinds of mud, and run in the wilderness."
Carrying the mission and responsibility of the continuous advancement of the national automobile brand, Dongfeng Mengshi also hopes to run at Mengshi speed on the new track of luxury electric off-road with the Mengshi spirit of "fearless conquest".
It is reported that the Dongfeng Mengshi 917, which focuses on hard-core off-road, has a power of more than 1,000 horsepower and a wheel-side torque of 16,200 Nm. At the same time, the application of hard-core off-road technologies such as the world's first two-speed gearbox with integrated differential lock, rear-wheel steer-by-wire technology, crab mode and VMC chassis dynamic domain control technology also gives it a strong ability to subvert off-road traditions.
